The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI) supports projects proposed and implemented by community groups, NGOs, regional government institutions, and other grassroots organizations working on local development activities. Since 1997, the CFLI funding for small projects in Mongolia has reached about 6 million Canadian dollars which focused on reducing poverty and strengthening good governance.
This year, we are accepting proposals for projects focusing on the following themes:




Project proposal submission deadline: May 11, 2018, 17:00 local time Project implementation dates: July 20, 2018 through February 1, 2019. Projects spanning for two years should be completed by February 1, 2020. Maximum funding: CA$50,000
Note: As explained in project guidelines please make sure to submit a completed application form, project budget (a. projects spanning for one year; b. projects spanning for two years) and project summary.
Please note that only selected proposals will be contacted by June 20, 2018. Proposals sent after the submission deadline, and proposals that do not meet the project requirements will be automatically eliminated from the selection process.
